On Wednesday, March 17th, my wife passed away from breast cancer.
We found out her cancer has metastasized to her liver and bone back in January, before her first follow up checkup after first round of chemo/radiation; follow up chemo didn't work, and things progressed so rapidly, we barely had time to move her back to Florida for her to be with her family.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. My grandmother passed away from breast cancer. It is such a terrible thing. Your wife will always be with you. I'm certain that each time you are photographing a beautiful landscape, you will feel her right there with you. Love lasts an eternity.
Thanks Tristan,
My wife put up a good fight, but it was such an aggressive form of BC (triple negative), we felt like we were blind sided every which way we went.
She will always be with me.
I'm so very sorry for your loss...
You're picture blog has brought me many smiles and I hope you are able to find peace in your hobbies.
Thinking of you, Matt.
I gave up my previous commercial job and started working as a full time professional photographer. The reason I chose to was because I knew that by being a photographer, I would be able to capture many of the important and less important aspects of my life. I am saddened to read about your loss but the images that we capture not only in our cameras will live on in our minds and hearts forever. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful images with us.
