It was a really cool event, if possible, I'll try to make it there again. It's usually first weekend of November.

Government Prairie

I was hoping to see greener pasture, but due to little moisture in the area, the grass in the prairie is a little on the dry side. But the view is still spectactular. The forest road can get a little bumpy at times, definitely get a high clearance SUV or truck if you want to get here, not for passenger cars.

I guess we are close to hunting season. We didn't see anyone except for some hunters scoping out the area for games.

Sedona Red Rocks

2 days after the flash flood that created a mess down in Sedona, another storm threatens.

The crew really did a very good clean up job at Tlaquepague.

The day started off with clear sky, by noon time, the cloud loomed over the peaks, there were actually patches of ice/snow on top of the mountain. There were quite a bit of people up there, taking the lift to go up to the peaks. Been there, don't want to do it again since dangling high up on a ski lift is just not for me, :)
